It all begins with a different perspective.

Cameras and photography have been part of my life through most of my youth and adulthood. The way I work has changed over the years, but the same curiosity remains at its heart: people, the world around me and the small moments that give us something worth telling.

Today, I create photographs, videos and content under the name Jeyshoots. Vivid colour, storytelling and a cinematic atmosphere run through my work. I also want to find the thought or feeling behind each project — the reason a photograph, video or story deserves to be made.

My personal projects have made this especially clear to me. When I returned to Croatia to film a story of my own, I initially thought I would find it in beautiful landscapes and cinematic shots that followed the latest trends. Along the way, I had to stop and reconsider what I actually wanted to say. Only then did the story begin to feel like my own.

The same question stays with me in client work. What is interesting about this person, company or product? How should it feel? And how could we show it in a way that stays with people?

My background also includes a long journey through Finnish esports and entertainment. From 2008 onwards, I helped build and grow the Finnish esports community as a founder of RCTIC Esports. I developed partnerships with international brands and brought gaming into new kinds of event settings. Those years taught me a great deal about audiences, commercial collaboration and, above all, building trust. That experience is still part of how I work.

I enjoy finding a shared idea with a client and having the chance to develop it further together. Sometimes it becomes a single photograph, sometimes a short film, a music video or a longer partnership in which the story grows as we work.

Turku is my home base, but photography and filmmaking take me wherever the story is. I stay involved from the first ideas to the finished result — looking for the visual form that feels right for the story.

Jeyshoots is my creative identity, and RCTIC Productions Oy is the company through which I work with clients and deliver productions.
